Our Inspiration
We were inspired by someone very special — our autistic grandson. Through his unique ways of seeing the world, we discovered that differences are not weaknesses, but gifts that make every person special in their own way.
We wanted to create stories that children and families could relate to. We developed the characters of Flip Flop, Lollipop, Hip Hop, and their friends to reflect real emotions, challenges, talents, and strengths often experienced by neurodivergent children. We wanted to create stories that children and families could relate to. We developed the characters of Flip Flop, Lollipop, Hip Hop, and their friends to reflect real emotions, challenges, talents, and strengths often experienced by neurodivergent children. Each character was designed to show that every child learns, communicates, focuses, and expresses themselves differently — and that those differences should be celebrated, not hidden.
The Adventures of Flip Flop & Lollipop Ft. Hip Hop was created to help bring awareness to autism, encourage kindness and understanding, and remind children that it is okay to be different. Through fun adventures, friendship, creativity, and teamwork, the stories teach an important message: EVERYONE BELONGS, EVERYONE MATTERS, AND WE ARE STRONGER WHEN WE SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER.
We hope these stories inspire children to embrace who they are, treat others with compassion, and recognize that our differences are what make the world brighter.
